Gravel Odyssey Gotland 2024
WHERE AND WHEN?
Time & place
The Odyssey starts off early bird, Thursday June 6th. Meeting point at our local bike shop partner Vai Vai Visby, St. Hansgatan 28. You’ll drop off your gear bag by the support vehicle, grab a last minute snack or coffee and head out. Back in Visby by dinner time, Saturday June 8th.
Who’s in?
You’ll meet and ride with gravel loving, explorers looking for adventure. Experienced cyclists, new gravelistas, bike packers and general two-wheel lovers with smiles on their faces. And anyone in between who enjoy a long day out.
How to get there
The trip to and from Visby is on you. Find your way, ferry or flight, your choice. A smart move is to book a night prior to start somewhere in Visby. And perhaps a stay over when getting back, to be able to enjoy a good Saturday night in Visby.
What’s included?

Each day on the bike will be guided by an experience group leader familiar with the route. There will be several groups divided by average speed. Option to switch between groups are open at all times. Groups will intersecting at lunch and stops during the days and of course meet at base camp every day.
The full route will also be published on this page as well as Strava / Ride With GPS at least 4 weeks before the event. -
Throughout the course, you’ll have two base camps prepared. They will be set up on established camp grounds with all the expected service such as bathrooms, showers, indoor space to hang out and dry clothing etc. You will sleep in your own tent or pay extra for a little more comfort in a camping hut.

After a long day, food and drinks are crucial for recovery. A full dinner and breakfast will be served on or close to base camp. You will be responsible for your arranging your own lunch, snacks and drinks to bring with you during the days. Grocery stores will be available close to base camps and on route.

Make it happen
The registration fee is 3,000 SEK and is paid upon registration via Swish.
Note! Early bird fee of 2 700 SEK is valid until March 25:th.
